Memorial Day . .

 has turned into a real memorial for me this year.

So, for starts, - I'm proud of the military members in my family . . proud of my family, period - B U T every so often, have slightly envied the close knit and fun that some of my friends have shared with and about theirs . . what I have come to stereotype as, 'family'.

These are one of those gazillion moments, that I wish it were close to that . .  

THIS was LAST October - ?! - and it's emailed, then texted - out NOW - like THIS . . like W T F?!?! . . 😡😠😭

BUT, something else you might also want to look out for, is the 'Devil's Comet', a.k.a. Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks - AND THIS is a once in 71 year occurrence

it won't be on the same totality path - unless you're in Indiana - ?? - BUT, IF you are able and looking, from mid March - mid April - when it will be closest to the Sun . . HERE's what you'll see - the brightest planet; Venus, on one side of the Sun, and the second brightest; Jupiter, on the other AND IF it's (the comet) bright enough, you MIGHT be able to see the Devil 👿 *ha ha

so I've got 5 YEARS to fill everyone up on 🤯 - *SORRY!! - I did not realize just how long it's been

🤔 I guess I'll start with and from the present, and work back - ?? - AND, please let me know if you would all like back posts / postings

when I had stopped posting HERE - I was posting to and on my instagram - and it had felt sufficient, at the time - or at least in MY mind - and adding, that I too had what I guess some influencer's (and I'm not referring to myself as one btw) have experienced and shared - Social Paralysis - 🤷 - what to post, how, where, captions, hashtags - AND then TRYing to be creative on EVERY platform❗ 🤯😵😱 while navigating, diplomatically through EVERY crisis that arose - THIS was IS just too much - well, for me - if anything, it had also exacerbated my writer's block . . but with this new year, I felt and thought it time, to get myself back on this horse - or should I say, 'blog', 🤣 . . ride /  write at MY own speed . . and while you're waiting and pondering - am doing MY BEST to and will catch up with y'all in my next post

is scheduled to showcase on 28th May @ Rome's Capitoline Museums - they're only amongst the most important and oldest museums in the world, known for their centuries old history and the priceless antiquities they house - we're talking ancient Roman statues, inscriptions, collection of medieval and Renaissance era art, jewelry, coins and other artifacts . . the foundation itself dates back to 1471 

so, a little tour and history lesson - as THIS will be / is the backdrop 

Choosing the Capitoline Museums as the location one can only imagine Michele's eclectic vision but it also continues the dialogue of his fascination with / for the old world - and this time drawing from a place reminiscent of his childhood
